About this site

This site answers the baby questions that come up on the night shift, one question per page, with the answer first. It is made by the people behind Baby Tracker for Dads.

The rule every page follows

Every page here answers one question, and the answer comes first. Every number is quoted word for word from a page published by the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), the CDC or the NHS, with a link to that page, the page's own date and the date we last checked it. A page says when a pediatric reviewer has signed it, and says so plainly when one has not.

The app

Baby Tracker for Dads is an iPhone app that keeps one shared log of feeds, diapers and sleep for both parents, and logging is free with no account needed. Pro adds trends, a report for the doctor, the handoff briefing, morning summary, partner alerts and next feed and sleep estimates.
